AGE LIMITATIONS
While there is no age limitation, however if our candle workshops are BYOB or contain alcohol, and involve high temperatures, and are intended for adults, we aim to create an adult friendly atmosphere.

(All participants under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian. Space and seating is limited, therefore, we cannot allow any guests to attend without participation. So please be sure to purchase a ticket for each individual in attendance.)

PUNCTUALITY
We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. Although we won’t give you a tardy slip for being late, please be aware that workshops start 10 minutes after the designated time.

Doors will open 5-15 minutes before the workshop start time depending on location.

Workshops typically run for 2 hours.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds will only be given if requested at least 7 days prior to the event. If you are unable to attend after the refundable period has passed, consider gifting your ticket to friend.

WORKSHOP TIMEFRAME
Candle only ticket: about 1 - 1.5 hours
Candle and room spray ticket: about 2 hours

END OF WORKSHOP
Your workshop may run past the timeframe depending on how quickly your candle sets. It takes approximately 60-90 minutes for your candles to solidify enough to safely travel with. Because of this, please plan on staying at least 30 minutes past your scheduled end time. (For example, if your workshop is booked from 11:00am - 1:00pm, please plan on leaving around 1:30pm.)

If you choose a candle only option, please plan on staying an additional hour, or come back to pick up your candle before the workshop ends.

If you cannot wait for your candle to solidify, we can ship your candle to you for a flat rate.

BATHROOMS
There is at least one bathroom available on site.

We will have a small break between the candle session and room spray session.

FOOD
While you may bring food/snacks, because we work with hot soy wax + fragrance oils, we ask that you do not consume any food while making. We will have a small break between making candles and room sprays, as well as a small waiting period at the end of the workshop while your candles continue to solidify. 

PARKING
We recommend that everyone arrive early enough to find sufficient parking.

SAFETY
You may be handling substances (hot soy wax, fragrances oils, etc.), utensils (scissors, etc.), or other materials that may cause irritation or injury. By purchasing workshop tickets, you are also agreeing to our Release of Liability + Media Form. Please be sure to read it before purchasing tickets!

PHOTOS + VIDEOS
At any point during the workshop, we may take photos or videos that may include you. These photos may be shared on Florida Candle Co's social media. They may also be used in future workshop listings on, but not limited to, Florida Candle Co's website. You’ll find more detailed information towards the bottom of the Release of Liability + Media Form.
