How To Use
Your candle comes with the wick already pre-trimmed. It is best to light where the wick meets the wax.
Before lighting again, gently snap off the ash or burnt wood on the top of the wick.
Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar each burn to prevent pooling.
Stop burning your candle when only 1/4" of wax remains.
Soy wax burns cooler, which means you will get 30-50% more burn time than a paraffin candle, for a fraction of the price. Our candles burn for 50-60 hours, if taken care of, but this may vary due to the soy wax and environment.
Handmade to Perfection
As our candles are all handmade with love in small batches. They may experience some variances in appearance.
Candle Care for soy wax candles is crucial, although it is hard to resist lighting our delightful candles as soon as they arrive. Please ensure you read through our candle care and safety before burning any of our candles.
As our candles are 100% soy wax, there are some crucial things you must be aware of when using, storing and looking after your brand new candle.
Allow the candle to burn right across the top layer of wax to avoid tunneling. Minimum = 45 mins - 1 hour Maximum = 4 hours
Our candles come with the wick already pre-trimmed, however you should make sure your wick is trimmed to between 1/8″ – 3/16″ / 3.2mm – 4.8mm before lighting. If the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick and the wick will extinguish.
Wooden wicks do need a little attention and tending to before each burn, similar to cotton wicks. Be sure to gently snap off the ash or burnt wood along the top edge of the wick and then light as usual.
If when burning the candle for a long period of time you notice the flame height getting too low, it may be necessary to tap off any excess ash or burnt wood along the top of the wick. The flame will then return to its proper optimal height.
